STEP 01
Build the form
- Present a wide range of media as experimental stimuliFor some items you can set limits such as viewing checks and the number of times a stimulus is shown.
- Response formats for research and evaluation, built inExtended input and selection formats, and formats suited to scales, are included.
- Manage items as a groupRandomization by group and showing items depending on answers are supported.

Add what you need around the form
In addition to building forms, you can use features that support preparing and running your research, as you need them.
Schedule
An extension that bundles everything involved in recruiting participants. Set time slots and capacity, distribute by QR or link, and handle sign-up, automatic assignment, and reminders from the same account.
Reminder sent automatically at 18:00 the day before
Linked to a form to manage sign-ups and responses together
Start free, and choose what fits the scale of your research
Basic features such as form building, randomization, scoring, and CSV export are available from the free plan.

Contact us- *1 A form slot is the number of forms you can keep at once. Deleting a form frees up its slot. Forms shared with you by others are not counted.
- *2 The export quota is consumed one unit per response. Re-downloading a response you have already exported costs nothing extra within the same billing period. The free plan counts cumulatively per form; subscription plans count per account for each billing period. On monthly plans, unused export quota does not carry over to the next month. Each plan's export quota applies to published forms; while a form is in planning, exports are limited to 10 responses on every plan.
Frequently asked questions
How is it different from a general-purpose survey form?
Many survey forms can shuffle question and option order, but what psychology experiments and surveys need, such as assigning presentation orders to participants by condition and scoring scales, is usually left to you. Psynaut assigns section orders to participants with a Latin square, exports scale scores (including reverse-scored items) as CSV columns, and flags responses that fail attention checks. Limits on video and audio playback and seeking, and wide / long output, are also available just by configuring the form.
How much can I do for free?
Up to 3 forms, with no limits on randomization, scoring, or CSV export features. Exports are capped at 30 responses per form. You have 3 form slots (the number of forms you can keep at once), and deleting a form frees up its slot.
Do you recruit participants for me?
No. What the Schedule extension currently covers is setting time slots and capacity, distribution by QR / link, sign-up, automatic assignment, and reminders. Recruiting — sourcing participants themselves — is still in preparation.
Are careless responses removed automatically?
They are flagged, not deleted. Responses that hit an exclusion rule (a specific choice, a value out of range, straight-lining, and so on) are evaluated on submission and recorded in the CSV's analysis column as keep / drop. Whether to exclude them is your call.
How much of the counterbalancing is automatic?
Choose a Latin square between sections and patterns are generated automatically: as many as there are conditions when that number is even, twice as many when it is odd. Participants are assigned round-robin. Question order within a section can be shuffled as well, and grouped questions move together.
